How Does
It Work? An
evaporative cooler is installed on the roof and connected to a
series of outlets placed throughout the
home.
The cooling unit draws in fresh air from outside
your house, the hotter the air, the better the cooling effect will
be. As it passes through the filter pads the air is cooled down and
flows through in to every room in your
house.
The entire home is refreshed with cool air every
few minutes and by leaving the doors and windows open you increase
the cooling effect!
Fresh,
healthy air Evaporative cooling is the healthiest way
to cool your home. Particularly for sufferers of hay-fever, asthma
or allergies, installing an evaporative cooling system may actually
help relieve some of their
symptoms.
Saving
the environment and your
money Unlike
refrigerated air conditioning, evaporative cooling is based on a
totally natural cooling process so there are no harmful CFC gases.
Evaporative cooling is also up to 50% cheaper to install and about
three times cheaper to run than refrigerated cooling. Average
electrical running costs average out to less than 10 cents an
hour.
