Security Alert: Suspicious Emails Reported
What’s Happening?
We’ve been alerted to a phishing scam where emails pretending to be from Coldflow are being sent with malicious attachments. These emails are not from us and are sent using generic email domains and invalid addresses.
How to Identify a Suspicious Email
- Check the sender: Official Coldflow emails will always come from a coldflow group email, emails coming from generic domains are fraudulent.
- Attachments: If an email includes an unexpected attachment, do not open it. It’s likely unsafe.
- Content: If an email looks unusual or unexpected, treat it with caution.
What to Do If You Opened an Attachment
If you’ve already opened an attachment, take immediate action:
- Disconnect your device from the internet to minimize risk.
- Contact an IT technician to check your system and ensure your data is secure.
