Adding a Cooling Option to your Gas Ducted Heater

Yes, you can use an add-on refrigerated cooling system as an additional component to your ducted gas heating system, allowing you to run refrigerated air conditioning via the same ducting and outlets in your existing system.

Please note that generally this can only be done when you install your original heater system as you need to perform extra steps to support add-on cooling that is not requiresd if installing only a heater

The add-on system uses the same ductwork as your existing unit, meaning you won’t need any extra. In some cases, some changes may need to be made to the layout of your current system to ensure compatibility.

It is also important to note that you cannot use any branded add-on system as generally there will be an add-on system specifically for your heating unit.
